Her Guardian Spirits and Blessings Rattles are meant to bless and protect the person, the place, or the special occasion. The seeds of her art career must have started when she was a child. Her grandfather had his own museum and used to carve wooden figures to use in his displays. His sculptures fascinated her. In 1984, after teaching for eighteen years, she took a sabbatical in order to get a Masters Degree in Art with an emphasis in sculpture and pottery. Since then Barbara has been sharing her wonderful spirit with all of us and showering us with blessings.
